Operator and scope
These terms govern The Library’s Children (도서관의 아이들) game and related services provided by 신용 (SY Labs), Republic of Korea. Contact: cs@sy-labs.net. Use of the service is subject to these terms and applicable store rules. If a minor needs a guardian’s authorization under applicable law, that authorization is required.
Game and availability
The service is a first-person exploration and puzzle game released in episodes. The initial release offers all ten floors of Part 1, Episode 1 for free and has no in-app purchases or paid ad-removal purchase. Later episodes and paid features, if offered, will show their price and conditions before purchase and will be covered by updated terms. Future episodes, release dates, and features are not guaranteed by these terms.
Personal use and conduct
We grant a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the game for personal enjoyment under these terms and applicable law. Game artwork, text, software, and other materials remain the property of their respective rights holders. Do not infringe others’ rights, interfere with services, compromise accounts, or falsify advertising rewards or authentication. Nothing here restricts uses permitted by law.
Saves and account recovery
You may start without signing in. Device saves can be lost if application data is removed or a device is lost. Optional account linking and cloud backup, when available, allow recovery of successfully synchronized progress. Unsynchronized changes may not be recoverable; linking alone does not prove a backup completed. Keep access to your linked provider account secure. Request account and server-data deletion through the support page; deletion may permanently prevent recovery.
Rewarded ads and repair waits
Some puzzle failures temporarily close a damaged device or area for repair. The repair timer runs independently of watching ads. An optional rewarded ad can accelerate repair by up to 120 minutes, limited to the remaining wait. Without an ad, repair completes when the displayed timer expires. Ordinary wrong answers, device resets, and resuming a saved game do not require ads. Ad availability depends on network conditions, providers, and privacy choices. Rewards are granted when completion is verified; an interrupted or unverified ad may not grant a reward. Contact support if a completed ad did not apply correctly. Watching an ad does not charge a purchase price, though carrier data fees may apply.
Connectivity and external services
Cloud synchronization, new online dialogue or book delivery, account linking, and advertising require an appropriate connection. Availability may vary by region, device, or provider. Your provider account and store use are also governed by those providers’ terms. This game does not guarantee continuous access to every external service.
Changes, maintenance, and restrictions
We may update content, fix bugs, or suspend online features for maintenance, security, legal requirements, or service operation. We will give advance notice of significant changes or closure where reasonably possible, except for urgent issues. Restrictions for misuse will be proportionate; you may contact support to request review.
Responsibility and consumer rights
We take reasonable care in providing the service and resolving reported faults. Responsibility for outages, data loss, and damages is determined under applicable law. These terms do not exclude liability that cannot legally be excluded, including applicable liability for intentional misconduct or gross negligence, and do not waive mandatory consumer rights.
Privacy and changes to these terms
Information handling is described in the Privacy Policy. Material changes to these terms will be announced with an effective date before they apply, and consent will be requested where required. You may stop using the service and request data deletion if you do not accept revised terms.
Law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea, subject to mandatory protections in your place of residence. Disputes follow the procedures and jurisdiction required by applicable law. Contact support first so we can try to resolve the issue. English, Korean, and Japanese versions are provided for accessibility; no translation removes statutory rights.
